Martell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. White Zombie - More Human Than Human kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov is looking to clinch but Martell is avoiding it.
Kozlov really is a fat lump.

Martell rushes Kozlov and presses him up against the ropes.
Martell misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kozlov is working for takedown but Martell is calmly controlling the position for now.
Martell lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Andrey Kozlov has been cut.

Martell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kozlov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kozlov lands in his opponent's guard.
Kozlov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Martell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kozlov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kozlov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kozlov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Martell's guard.
