Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muay McThai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Calvin Duran!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Muay McThai!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McThai misses with a body kick.
McThai has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McThai there as he acknowledges the shot.
Duran connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McThai feints and then cracks Duran's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duran down.
Duran swings for the body but McThai moves out of range.
Duran lands a body shot.
Duran moves out of range of the leg kick from McThai.
McThai throws a head kick that Duran semi-blocks.
Duran on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Duran blocks a head kick by McThai.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good work by Duran as he checks the leg kick.
Duran chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McThai can pounce on him.
McThai does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Duran listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McThai lands with a kick to the temple. Duran shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Duran connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
McThai defending well as Duran loads up on a big left hand.
McThai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A decent looking cross lands there for Duran.
Duran has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McThai.
McThai throws a chopping leg kick but Duran manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Duran lands a jab to McThai's midsection.
McThai throws a head kick but Duran moves out of range.
McThai looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duran scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McThai doesn't seem bothered though.
McThai misses with a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McThai walks forward, straight into a front kick from Duran.
Duran comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Duran throws a wild body kick that McThai sees coming a mile off.
McThai takes one to the side of the head.
McThai takes a jab right on the kisser.
McThai walks into a stiff left hand from Duran.
McThai is rocked!
Duran connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McThai momentarily.
McThai is still on wobbly legs! Can Duran finish him?
Duran drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks McThai right on the button. McThai goes down! Duran follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Duran gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calvin Duran!
