The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard misses with a body shot.
Howard takes a swing at Bloodrock's ribcage but misses.
Bloodrock's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bloodrock duly obliges.
Bloodrock connects with a jab.
Bloodrock defending well as Howard loads up on a big left hand.
Shane Howard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bloodrock takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Bloodrock throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Howard.
Bloodrock tests Howard's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bloodrock tries to bum rush Howard with a series of wild strikes but Howard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Howard swings for the body but Bloodrock moves out of range.
Howard swings away with a leg kick that misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bloodrock lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Howard sprawling to the canvas. Bloodrock follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Howard hang on?
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Well, if Bloodrock is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
