The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rewars swats away the attempt to clinch by Sharp.
Rewars shoots in looking for a takedown but Sharp manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rewars's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lawson Sharp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rewars tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sharp swivels and escapes.
Rewars avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sharp lands with a hook. Rewars tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rewars drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sharp gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sharp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sharp drops Rewars with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rewars! Sharp dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
