Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Voitto Isokivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voitto Isokivi will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shingo Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Voitto Isokivi!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Isokivi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takeda paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Isokivi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Takeda keeping moving, preventing Isokivi from controlling successfully.
Isokivi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Isokivi throws a big right hand that misses.
Isokivi won't allow Takeda to sweep him here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Isokivi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Takeda is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeda is working an open guard so Isokivi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Isokivi doesn't manage to clinch there - Takeda circles away.
Isokivi throws a combination. Takeda tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Isokivi misses with a takedown attempt - Takeda sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Good standup being displayed there by Takeda as he connects with a hook.
Isokivi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Takeda lands an overhand right.
Horrible takedown by Isokivi or perhaps it was just good defense by Takeda which made him look bad.

Isokivi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Takeda could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Isokivi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takeda swivels and escapes.
Shingo Takeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Voitto Isokivi.
Takeda lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Takeda throws a right hand that Isokivi ducks under and follows up with a left that Isokivi also avoids with ease.
Takeda lands with a straight right. Isokivi didn't see that one coming.
Takeda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Takeda connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Isokivi momentarily.

Isokivi shoots for a takedown but Takeda saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Isokivi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Takeda is looking to reverse the position.
