Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Wotton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Pancamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henry Wotton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chuck Pancamo!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Pancamo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Pancamo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wotton is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wotton has escaped and now he's on top!
Pancamo is looking to stand up but Wotton isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Henry Wotton.
Pancamo misses with a combination
and Wotton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pancamo's corner calls for a 1-2. Pancamo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wotton thows a body shot but no joy.
Wotton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Pancamo is trying to trip Wotton. He has hold of a leg but Wotton is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pancamo persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Pancamo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wotton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pancamo has gone for a leg lock! Wotton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pancamo's guard.
Wotton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pancamo wants to stand up but Wotton is controlling him.

Pancamo wriggles free and stands up.
Pancamo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pancamo pushes Wotton up against the cage in a clinch.

Pancamo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wotton can't fight it off and eventually Pancamo manages to take the fight to the floor. Wotton looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wotton is controlling Pancamo's posture.

Pancamo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wotton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wotton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wotton!
Pancamo pushes Wotton away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wotton gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wotton stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sloppy strikes from Pancamo. Those never looked like landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pancamo lands with an overhand left.
Pancamo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wotton counters with a nice body shot.
Wotton slips a jab and a cross from Pancamo.

Pancamo forces Wotton back against the cage and clinches.
Wotton keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pancamo's efforts to push away.
Pancamo with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Pancamo tightens his grip and picks Wotton up, before dumping him to the ground. Wotton manages to land in guard.
Pancamo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wotton wants to sweep but no luck.

Pancamo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wotton dives on top into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wotton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pancamo, up you get!

Pancamo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wotton, pushing him back against the cage.

Pancamo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pancamo avoids the elbow strike from Wotton, against the cage.

Pancamo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Pancamo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wotton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pancamo but great work by Wotton.

Wotton decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pancamo to his feet.
Chuck Pancamo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Pancamo dives in and scores a takedown into Wotton's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pancamo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wotton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wotton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wotton!

Pancamo sneaks out the side door and pushes Wotton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pancamo shoots in and bounces Wotton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wotton is trying to keep Pancamo in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chuck Pancamo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Wotton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Pancamo fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice body punch from Wotton.
Wotton lunges at Pancamo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pancamo's hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pancamo misses with a double jab
and Wotton counters with a left and a right that stings Pancamo.

Wotton tries to keep at a distance but Pancamo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Pancamo gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Wotton is looking to improve his position.

Pancamo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Pancamo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wotton has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pancamo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wotton is doing well to control the position and prevent Pancamo from advancing to side control.

Pancamo is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Wotton as he works his way to full guard.

Pancamo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wotton is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pancamo, into his guard.

Wotton stands and steps away. Pancamo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Chuck Pancamo.
Well Pancamo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
