The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rossi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lombard tries to avoid it but Rossi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lombard to the ground. Lombard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rossi looks to score with a jab to the body but Lombard is just out of range.
