I think Knox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Its time for WAR!!!-ll cool j. David Knox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rage walks into a left hand.
Knox missing with a left hand there. Rage was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rage shoots in looking for a takedown. Knox tries to sprawl out of it but Rage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Knox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knox defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rage.
Knox connects with a nice looking jab.
Knox misses the shot to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rage.

Knox gets tackled into the cage by Rage. Rage maintains the clinch.
Knox working aggressively here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Rage pulls guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Knox trying to control the position from guard on top but Rage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Knox controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Knox trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because David Knox wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Rage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Knox counters with a low kick, right behind Rage 's knee.
Knox throws a leg kick but Rage checks it.
Rage lands a nice shot that snaps Knox's head back.
Rage shoots for a double leg takedown but Knox sprawls well. He's pushed Rage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
David Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leviathen Rage.
Rage takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Knox stuffs the takedown attempt from Rage. Rage gets slowly back to his feet.

Knox takes a swing at Rage's ribcage but misses.
A big right from Knox misses.
Rage misses with a hook
and Knox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Knox throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rage on the side of the head.
Knox throws a shot to the body.
Knox lands a nice looking body shot.
Rage looks gassed!
Rage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rage closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Knox is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Knox throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rage stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Knox getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The fighters circle momentarily. Knox darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Knox steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Rage is out on his feet! Knox sets himself and nearly takes Rage's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
