Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tepez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tepez comes to the cage accompanied by Ministry - NWO . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin avoids the head kick by Tepez.
Tepez throws a head kick that misses.
Tepez throws a series of punches but Martin avoids them all with ease.
Tepez throws a hook to the side of Martin's head but Martin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt
and Tepez counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Martin is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Martin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tepez.
Tepez stands up and beckons Martin to his feet.
Tepez drives through with a takedown into Martin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Martin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tepez puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Tepez slips a nice elbow through Martin's hands, connecting with Martin's forehead.
Martin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tepez scores with a couple of nice shots.

Tepez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Martin to get to his feet.

Martin is looking to clinch.
Martin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tepez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tepez throws a head kick that misses.
Tepez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tepez catches Martin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tepez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Tepez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tepez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vlad Tepez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tepez lands a jab.
Martin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tepez moves into the clinch.
Tepez jumps guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tepez pushes Martin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Martin tries to clinch up.
Tepez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Martin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tepez backs up against the cage.
Martin tries to land a front kick but Tepez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Martin shoots in but Tepez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tepez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Martin defending well as Tepez loads up on a big left hand.
Martin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tepez defends it nicely.
Vlad Tepez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Martin.
A big left from Tepez misses.

Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tepez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Martin.
It looks like John Martin has been cut.
Tepez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tepez lands with a kick to the temple. Martin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tepez lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Martin is rocked!
A left lands for Tepez.
Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Tepez finish him?
Tepez throws a head kick but Martin moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Martin tries for a takedown but Tepez circles away easily
and Tepez counters with a straight right hand.
Martin has his takedown stuffed
and Tepez counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Martin! Tepez smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
