Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Big Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thats Entertainment - The Jam. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt wants to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hurt crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thompson - the referee stops the clock and Hurt gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thompson. Hurt manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hurt takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hurt tries to clinch but Thompson moves away
and Thompson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hurt looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Thompson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Thompson counters with a low kick, right behind Hurt 's knee.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hurt misses with a wild combination.
Thompson lands a jab.
Thompson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hurt is breathing heavily.
Hurt shoots for a takedown but Thompson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hurt closes the distance looking to clinch

and Thompson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hurt! Thompson lets Hurt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Hurt is rocked!
Thompson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hurt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hurt.
Thompson moves away from the strike by Hurt.
Hurt misses with a left hand

and Thompson counters with a head kick that drops Hurt to the mat! Hurt scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Oh Hurt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thompson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Hurt falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
