Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Fricke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Great Tonying (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fricke kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drowning Pool - Bodies. Fricke throws a hook but Tonying avoids it easily.

Tonying drops Fricke with a big left hand and mounts him. Fricke is in big trouble!

It looks like Ryan Fricke has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fricke is looking to improve his position but Tonying isn't that keen on the idea.

Fricke bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fricke is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tonying is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tonying has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by The Great Tonying.

and Tonying counters with a three punch combo that has Fricke backing up. Fricke nods at Tonying to acknowledge the strikes.

Tonying wants to clinch up but Fricke keeps it at a distance.
Fricke ducks under a wild hook from Tonying.
Tonying throws a leg kick but Fricke moved away.
Fricke fails to land with a series of punches.
Tonying fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fricke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tonying lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tonying showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fricke.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tonying is looking to clinch.
Fricke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tonying pinned against the cage. Tonying gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ryan Fricke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fricke blocks a jab.
Tonying avoids the head kick by Fricke.
Tonying connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fricke's hands.
The Great Tonying seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tonying stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fricke.
Tonying has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fricke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Tonying counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Tonying feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fricke's calf.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tonying closes the distance and pushes Fricke back into the cage.
Tonying lands a nice uppercut.
Tonying lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Tonying lands a hook to the side of the head.
Tonying lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Fricke is rocked!
Tonying throws a big uppercut that drops Fricke! More strikes from Tonying and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Fricke lies dazed against the cage as Tonying celebrates with his cornermen!
