Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Martyn Ripley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Sutherland. Those never looked like landing.
Sutherland really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A head kick misses from Sutherland.
Ripley tries a head kick but it misses.
Ripley lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Sutherland avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ripley shoots and misses
and Sutherland counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ripley wants to clinch up but Sutherland keeps it at a distance.
Ripley doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sutherland counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ripley's knee momentarily.
Ripley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sutherland fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ripley is out of range.

Ripley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sutherland is trying to defend but Ripley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ripley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
