Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob Hick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin misses the shot to the body.
Putin lands with a right hand.

It looks like Billy Bob Hick has been cut.
Putin throws a good cross that connects.
Hick tries to clinch there but Putin circles away.
Hick dodges the punch combination from Putin.
Hick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hick slips a jab and a cross from Putin.
Hick takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Putin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Hick holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Putin tries to stall but Hick uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Hick manages to pull guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Putin looking to sit in guard and control but Hick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hick is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Putin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Putin has escaped and now he's on top!

Putin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hick manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Putin has Hick in his guard.
Putin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Putin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Vladimir Putin.
Putin throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hick blocks a leg kick.
Putin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Vladimir Putin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putin punishes Hick's body with a nice straight punch.

Hick pushes Putin up against the cage in a clinch.

Hick jumps into guard, dragging Putin to the mat.

Hick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Putin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Putin is sitting in close to Hick's body. Hick has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Putin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Putin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hick.
