Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Ahma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahma comes to the cage accompanied by Power - Kanye West. Barnes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Barnes has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ahma defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Barnes.
Ahma closes the distance and clinches up with Barnes, looking for a takedown. Ahma pushes Barnes against the cage but Barnes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ahma shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barnes napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barnes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ahma fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Barnes avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ahma just misses with a punch to the body.
Ahma works Barnes's body with a nice hook.
A slow jab from Ahma misses its intended target.
Barnes stuffs the takedown attempt from Ahma. Ahma gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Ahma or perhaps it was just good defense by Barnes which made him look bad.
Barnes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ahma finds it's way round the side to connect with Barnes's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahma cracks a nice hook into Barnes's ribs.

Ahma shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barnes as he jumps to the side.

Ahma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Ahma is looking to wear down Barnes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Barnes slaps away a takedown attempt from Ahma, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Ahma. That snapped Barnes's head back.

Ahma looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barnes is fending him off so far but Ahma persists. Nope, Barnes circles away and we're back to standing.
Barnes moves out of range as Ahma strikes.

Ahma walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ahma shoots in but Barnes avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ahma enables Barnes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ahma manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ahma had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Barnes defends it easily.
Barnes throws a strike but Ahma rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Mike Barnes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ahma seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
