Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Garrett Bisley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samoa Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bisley comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Joe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sitting Sideways . Garrett Bisley is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Garrett Bisley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Samoa Joe!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Bisley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Joe's head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bisley is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Joe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bisley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Joe looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bisley with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

and Joe counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bisley!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bisley avoids a strike by Joe and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Joe's guard! Fantastic escape!

Bisley is looking to take a break and control but Joe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Garrett Bisley.
I think Joe has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
