Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Mizrahi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Trace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizrahi tries to close the distance and clinch but Trace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown by Trace or perhaps it was just good defense by Mizrahi which made him look bad.

No joy there for Trace, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mizrahi gets caught napping as Trace dives in and scores a takedown. Mizrahi manages to retain guard.

Trace has gone for a leg lock! Mizrahi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Trace's guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mizrahi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Trace - the referee stops the clock and Mizrahi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Trace. Mizrahi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fighters circling - Trace throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
