Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carling Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber comes to the ring accompanied by 99 Problems by Jay Z. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Levi Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Carling Foster!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster dives in and grabs Weber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weber pushes down on Foster's head and hops out.
Nice jab there from Weber.
Foster tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weber sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Foster somewhat.
Weber throws a series of punches but Foster moves out of range.

Foster shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Weber's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Weber keeping full guard, as Foster tries to pass.
Foster prevents Weber from getting back to his feet.
Weber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weber tries to get out of the position.
Foster tries to stand but Weber is controlling from the bottom.
Foster postures up in Weber's guard and throws a big left but Weber blocks it.

Foster thows a big elbow that misses.
Foster tries to free his leg and advance position but Weber is retaining full guard.

Foster postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Foster pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Weber is keeping the position for now.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Weber lands a right hook to the body.

Foster darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Foster passes the guard and advances to mount!

Foster trying to control but Weber is having none of it.

Foster goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Weber is on top in guard.

Foster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Weber avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Weber got a little sloppy there for a moment and Foster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weber has managed to get both his arms back between Foster's legs - danger averted.

Foster wants to control but Weber is keeping busy.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Foster is controlling Weber's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Weber wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Foster uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Foster looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Weber passes into side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Carling Foster was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Foster shoots in and drives through. Weber sprawls well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Foster thows a body shot but no joy.
Foster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weber was well out of range. Poor timing from Foster.
Weber looks to land a left hand but Foster moved out of range nicely.
Weber misses with an uppercut

and Foster counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Foster throws a strike but Weber rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Weber wanted to stand there but Foster had control of the position.

Foster working for a triangle but Weber defends it easily.

Foster trying to keep a closed guard but Weber is proving a slippery customer.
Foster might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Weber kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Carling Foster has got the better of the ground game so far.
Foster is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Foster wants to control but Weber is keeping him busy.

Foster is working for a submission of some sort.
Foster throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Foster is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weber is just riding it out for now. Foster eventually gives up the hold.

Foster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Foster stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Weber to get to his feet.
Weber misses with an uppercut

and Foster counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Foster.

Weber will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Foster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Foster is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Weber is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Weber has escaped and now he's on top!

Foster uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Weber.

Levi Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Weber scores with a one two! Foster had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Foster shoots for a double leg takedown but Weber sprawls well. He's pushed Foster's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Foster tries to clinch there but Weber circles away.
Weber swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Foster counters with a nice kick to the body.
A left and a right from Weber both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Foster creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Weber sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Foster working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Foster is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Weber knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carling Foster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Foster goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Weber has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Foster but great work by Weber.
