The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OReilly throws a lazy head kick
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jackson!
OReilly looks to clinch
and Jackson counters with a straight right hand.
OReilly tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
OReilly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
OReilly is looking to clinch.
Jackson lands a lovely overhand right.
OReilly is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

OReilly closes the distance and clinches.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. OReilly doesn't seem bothered though.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jackson is pushing down on OReilly's leg trying to pass to half guard. OReilly is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackson has managed to sneak the leg through.

OReilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big shot lands for Jackson! That's hurt OReilly! Will he recover? Jackson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
