Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micky Greenleaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batista has chosen I WALK ALONE as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Micky Greenleaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dave Batista!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greenleaf fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Batista to the ground. Greenleaf is now in Batista's guard.

Batista looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Greenleaf has picked Batista up and slammed him! Batista can't keep hold of the triangle and Greenleaf manages to pass to side control!

Greenleaf tries to move to mount but Batista blocks the move with his legs.
You can see the frustration on Batista's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Batista tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Greenleaf wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greenleaf creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Greenleaf tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Greenleaf has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Batista is looking for a sweep.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Batista is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Greenleaf has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Batista is trying to control Greenleaf's posture but Greenleaf avoids it.
Batista tries to improve position but can't.
Greenleaf is chipping away with strikes.
Batista is trying to get back to half guard.
Greenleaf controlling the position from side mount.
Batista tries to bench press Greenleaf off him but Greenleaf keeps the position.
Batista takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Greenleaf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Greenleaf wants to control but Batista is keeping him busy.
Batista is working to avoid the ground and pound but Greenleaf connects with a decent elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Greenleaf looks up at the clock and then as Batista takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Greenleaf smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Batista is looking for a sweep.
Greenleaf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Batista keeps working.
Greenleaf scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Batista to see if he's OK.
Batista is looking for a sweep.
Greenleaf is looking to take a break and control but Batista is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Greenleaf tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Batista pushes Greenleaf away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Greenleaf gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Greenleaf prevents Batista from escaping the position.
Batista is looking to regain half guard here but Greenleaf keeps moving and retains side control.
Greenleaf passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Batista!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Greenleaf cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Greenleaf postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Batista looks a forlorn figure.
Greenleaf can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Batista is looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Greenleaf in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Greenleaf misses with a wild body shot.

Batista feints and as Greenleaf raises his hands in defense, Batista changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Greenleaf wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Greenleaf utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Batista wants to stand but Greenleaf has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Batista is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Greenleaf has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Batista is looking to defend but Greenleaf has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Batista! Greenleaf pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Batista taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Micky Greenleaf!
