The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kondrashin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Kondrashin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kondrashin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyson avoids it really well and circles away.

and Tyson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kondrashin shoots for a takedown but Tyson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kondrashin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tyson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kondrashin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kondrashin gets tackled into the cage by Tyson. Tyson maintains the clinch.
Kondrashin can't get the takedown.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tyson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Tyson digs a right hand underneath Kondrashin's ribcage. Kondrashin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Tyson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kondrashin's efforts to push away.
Tyson wants to break free but Kondrashin has control.
Kondrashin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tyson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kondrashin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tyson has him pressed against the cage.
Tyson wants to get back to striking at distance but Kondrashin won't allow it.
Tyson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Tyson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Tyson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kondrashin is rocked!
Tyson connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Kondrashin covering up! Tyson comes in with a big uppercut and Kondrashin goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
