Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaun Chen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kenny Page's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chen enables Page to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Page throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Page throwing strikes but missing.
Page missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Page postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Page accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Page wants to pass the guard but Chen is keeping the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Page trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Page keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chen's head.

Page stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Page changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chen tries to avoid it but Page manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chen to the ground. Chen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Page.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Page misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Page scores with a couple of short elbows.
Page passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Chen!
Page lands a nice shot to the head.
BOOM! Page connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Chen is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Page unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Chen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Page celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
