Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, I Hope I Win!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Tidds misses.
No joy there for Tidds, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
I Win shoots in for a double leg but Tidds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
I Win shoots for a takedown but Tidds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
I Win works over Tidds's head and body with a nice combination.
Tidds tries to clinch up.
No luck for I Win with that takedown attempt.
Leroy Tidds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of I Hope I Win.

Tidds closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into I Win's guard.
I Win trying to keep a closed guard but Tidds is proving a slippery customer.
Tidds wants to get up but he can't break I Win's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

I Win closes the distance and clinches up with Tidds, looking for a takedown. I Win pushes Tidds against the ropes but Tidds circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tidds stuffs the takedown attempt from I Win. I Win gets slowly back to his feet.
I Win looks gassed!

A momentary lapse in concentration from I Win enables Tidds to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. I Win manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tidds is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tidds's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tidds scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tidds fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but I Win avoids it really well and circles away.

I Win is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. I Win connects with a nice short shot to Tidds's temple.
I Win content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
I Win is keen to just control but Tidds is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Tidds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


I Win shoots for a takedown but Tidds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tidds throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice uppercut lands for Tidds. That snapped I Win's head back.

I Win pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Tidds can't keep his opponent in guard - I Win advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
I Win seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
I Win stops Tidds from getting back to his feet.
Tidds avoiding damage under a succession of punches from I Win.

I Win postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Tidds to stand up.
I Win misses with a body kick.
Tidds tries to close the distance and clinch up but I Win swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tidds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but I Win moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
I Win avoids a kick to the body.
I Win tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Tidds paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tidds lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as I Win backs up against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

OK we're going to have a standup here. I Hope I Win hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Some wild striking there from Tidds.
Tidds throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Tidds finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Leroy Tidds is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
I Win tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tidds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten I Win somewhat.
Tidds displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from I Win.
Tidds throws a left and a right that both miss
and I Win counters with a left and a right that stings Tidds.
I Win slaps away a takedown attempt from Tidds, before circling back to the center of the mat.
I Win misses with a jab, cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I Win can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

I Hope I Win showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tidds stalks I Win and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into I Win's face. I Win staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like I Hope I Win has been cut.
Tidds tries to close the distance and clinch but I Win swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tidds scores with a one two! I Win had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


I Win is rocked!

Tidds darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! I Win's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Tidds before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
