Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Molotov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Dig by Incubus. David Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molotov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johnson lands a nice hook to Molotov's body. Molotov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

David Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Molotov is standing up over Johnson. Johnson looks to escape but Molotov dives into side control.

so Johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Molotov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Johnson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Molotov doesn't have the hooks in and Johnson manages to turn into his guard.
Johnson stands and steps away. Molotov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson walks straight into a right hand from Molotov - that's dropped him! Molotov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Johnson from any more punishment! Johnson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
