Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Hatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Drowning Pool - Step up. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatcher lands a head shot.

Douglas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hatcher defends it nicely.
Hatcher scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hatcher jabs Douglas to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Hatcher stuns Douglas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Douglas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hatcher moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hatcher is looking to wear down Douglas with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Douglas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Douglas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hatcher connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Douglas scrambles back to his feet.

The cut above Gavin Douglas's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A head kick by Hatcher - that's a beauty! Douglas is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hatcher can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
