Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bader Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Lovell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bader Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lovell rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lovell decides to pull guard.
Lovell wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lovell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lovell wants to get back to his feet.
Jones moves nicely into side control.
Jones working the ground and pound but Lovell is defending the strikes.

You can see the frustration on Lovell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lovell to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lovell shrugs it off.
