The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamont thows a left - swing and a miss!
A head kick from Perry lands but Lamont takes it in his stride.
Perry walks into a left hand.

Lamont tries to sprawl but Perry drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Lamont is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lamont tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lamont is trying to get back to full guard.
Lamont taking some punishment here, with Perry in his half guard.
Lamont tries to roll over but Perry keeps him under control.
Perry seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Perry is nestled in close to Lamont, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Perry scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Lamont is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Perry is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lamont on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Perry uses his free foot to push down on Lamont's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lamont.
Perry lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Perry landing strikes, looking to finish!
Lamont is breathing heavily.
Perry prevents Lamont from getting the reversal.
Perry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Lamont is rocked!
Perry looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Lamont covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
