Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronan Hollace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hollace is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Outside by Staind. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Dallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Ronan Hollace!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollace lands with an overhand left.
Dallas misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Hollace misses the target.

Hollace gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Dallas jumps guard but Hollace stands there with Dallas around his waist. Dallas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dallas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hollace smiles and moves away.
A jab from Dallas finds it's way through Hollace's defenses.
David Dallas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hollace buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hollace misses with a looping right.
Dallas misses with a two punch combination.

Hollace fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dallas, pushing him back against the cage.
Hollace lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dallas backwards.
Hollace lands a left hand.
Hollace drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hollace throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Hollace throws an elbow that misses.
Dallas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dallas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hollace can't find room to land a body shot as Dallas controls the action.

It looks like David Dallas has been cut.

Hollace tightens his grip and picks Dallas up, before dumping him to the ground. Dallas manages to land in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Dallas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hollace wants to control from the top but Dallas keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hollace thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dallas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hollace looking to pass the guard.
Hollace trying to control the position from guard on top but Dallas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dallas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hollace wants to pass the guard but Dallas is keeping the position.
Hollace not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dallas misses with a few strikes there.

and Hollace counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Hollace counters with a leg kick.

Hollace has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dallas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hollace just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hollace has Dallas pushed against the cage.

Dallas has Hollace pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hollace manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dallas is pressed up against the cage. Hollace has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dallas down to the mat. Dallas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hollace fails to land the takedown.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dallas throws a series of punches but Hollace moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ronan Hollace dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Dallas's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hollace keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dallas looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Hollace decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hollace is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Hollace working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Hollace sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Dallas is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hollace looking to control but Dallas is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dallas holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hollace tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Dallas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hollace in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dallas avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hollace.
Hollace lands a heavy elbow.
Hollace controlling his opponent.

Hollace looking for a guillotine from mount but Dallas is having none of it.
Hollace thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Hollace looking to ground and pound but Dallas is blocking nicely.
Hollace throwing strikes here but Dallas is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hollace misses with a head shot.

Hollace looking to isolate an arm here. Dallas doesn't see it coming and as Hollace extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Hollace!
