Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Acho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sian Sissoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Sissoko or perhaps it was just good defense by Acho which made him look bad.
Acho throws a nice looking combination but Sissoko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Acho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sissoko is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Acho defends well.
Acho tries to free his leg and advance position but Sissoko is retaining full guard.

Sissoko has his foot on Acho's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Acho works his way back into a safe position though.

Sissoko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Acho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Acho holds on, trying desperately to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sissoko throws some wild stikes that Acho manages to avoid easily.

Acho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sissoko, pushing him back against the cage.
Acho wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Acho is pressed up against the cage. Sissoko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Acho down to the mat. Acho avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sissoko obliges.

Sissoko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Acho uses from the top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sissoko is on top in guard.

Acho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sissoko tries to avoid it but Acho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sissoko to the ground. Sissoko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Acho lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sissoko backs up against the cage.

Sissoko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Acho is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Acho has escaped and now he's on top!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Acho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
