PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sambo Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Diao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Robinson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DJ Dee Kline - I don't smoke da reefa. The crowd seem to be enjoying Diao's choice of entrance music: 半斤八兩. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robinson looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Diao is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diao can do anything to dispel that myth.

Robinson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Robinson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's time! Robinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Diao digs a right hand into Robinson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Robinson's gas tank.

Kai Diao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
