PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Kronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Redfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kronos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is mudvayne-dig. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redfield tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kronos counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kronos engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Kronos wants to control from the top but Redfield keeps moving.

Redfield looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Redfield has his foot on Kronos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kronos works his way back into a safe position though.
Kronos trying to control the position from guard on top but Redfield is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kronos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kronos trying to control but Redfield is working from the bottom.

Redfield is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kronos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Redfield's body to avoid the submission. Redfield has instead reached around Kronos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Redfield arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
