Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Volkan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Polo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polo throws a series of punches but Volkan avoids them all with ease.
Volkan misses with a double jab.
Volkan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Nice defenses there by Polo.
Volkan stuffs the takedown attempt from Polo. Polo gets slowly back to his feet.
Volkan just misses with a punch to the body.

Polo looks to land a combination but Volkan avoids it well.

Volkan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Horrible takedown by Polo or perhaps it was just good defense by Volkan which made him look bad.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Polo is defended easily by Volkan.
Aaron Volkan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Polo.

Polo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Volkan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Polo is in Volkan's guard.

Volkan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Polo scores with a couple of nice shots.
Volkan tries to kick Polo off but Polo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Polo lands a nice short elbow.

Oh Volkan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Polo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Volkan quite badly. Volkan pulls Polo in close trying to recover. Polo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Volkan on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Volkan doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marco Polo!
