Theban has chosen Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story as his entrance music. Alcaeus Theban is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyril fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Theban.
A head kick from Kyril lands but Theban takes it in his stride.
Kyril moves out of range as Theban strikes.
Theban takes a kick to the side of the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kyril.
Kyril throws a leg kick that is checked
and Theban counters with a thumping low kick.
Kyril walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Theban checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Theban fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kyril manages to avoid it.

Theban shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kyril eats them both and turns towards Theban to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Kyril throws a series of punches but Theban avoids them all with ease.
Theban connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kyril's hands.

Theban fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kyril has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Theban feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kyrils jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Theban. Kyril does a little dance to reset his feet.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Theban has cracked Kyril with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Theban lands another huge swinging hook and Kyril tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Kyril, before Theban can land any more shots!
