Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hatake Akamaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fargo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fargo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Low Rider by WAR. Hatake Akamaru could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Fargo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akamaru misses with a takedown attempt

and Fargo counters by clinching up.

Fargo tightens his grip and picks Akamaru up, before dumping him to the ground. Akamaru manages to land in guard.
Fargo throwing strikes but missing.
Fargo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Akamaru is keeping the position for now.
Fargo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fargo stands and throws Akamaru's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fargo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fargo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fargo taking a break here but Akamaru is having none of it and regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fargo looks to land a strike but Akamaru avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Akamaru will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fargo wants to stand and escape but instead Akamaru has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Fargo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Akamaru drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Akamaru seems to have locked his on tight now - Fargo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Akamaru, as he picks up the win!
