PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fighter Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gucci Mane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gucci Mane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mane goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fighter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mane gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mane prevents Fighter from escaping the position.
Mane trying to control the position but Fighter is working away.
Fighter could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fighter is trying to control Mane's posture but Mane avoids it.

Mane wants to control but Fighter is keeping him busy.

Mane tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fighter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Fighter looking for submissions off his back.
Mane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fighter does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mane lands strikes from half guard.
Mane is looking to advance position but Fighter won't allow it.

Fighter trying to hold on to Mane's head to control him but Mane postures up.
Fighter desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Mane wants to pass to mount but Fighter is defending the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fighter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Mane tries to improve position but can't.
Fighter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fighter is staying tight to Mane's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fighter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Fighter has hold of Mane's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mane tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fighter cranks the arm and Mane screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
