Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Herrick Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sombat Buakaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldman comes to the cage accompanied by Gamma Ray - Blood Religion . Sombat Buakaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buakaw swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Goldman counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Goldman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Buakaw takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Buakaw throws a right and a left that both miss.
Goldman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Goldman scores with a body shot.
Buakaw throws a nice inside leg kick.
Buakaw swings for the body but Goldman moves out of range.
Buakaw pulls out of a head kick attempt.

so Goldman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Goldman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goldman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Goldman drops back looking for a leg! Buakaw is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Buakaw manages to kick Goldman off! Goldman jumps back into Buakaw's guard.
Goldman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Buakaw's guard.

Buakaw is defending against the submission attempts here by Goldman.

Goldman is keen to just control but Buakaw is a slippery customer.
Goldman is looking to advance position but Buakaw won't allow it.
Buakaw is trying to stand up here but Goldman is controlling him well.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Goldman lands a nice short elbow.

Goldman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Goldman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Buakaw can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Goldman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Goldman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Goldman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buakaw as he avoids it easily.
Sombat Buakaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Buakaw tries to clinch but Goldman moves away
and Goldman counters with a left and a right that stings Buakaw.

Goldman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Buakaw to the mat! Buakaw manages to get full guard.

Goldman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Goldman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Buakaw is working to avoid the ground and pound but Goldman connects with a decent elbow.

Goldman has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Buakaw's face.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Goldman! Buakaw is hurt baaadly! Goldman is firing away with more strikes - Buakaw is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
