The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Schrute is trying to defend but Johnson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Schrute moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schrute swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
