The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biruchinskiy gets a double leg takedown into Samurai's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Biruchinskiy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Samurai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Biruchinskiy postures up in Samurai's guard and throws a big left but Samurai blocks it.
Samurai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Biruchinskiy's guard.
Samurai sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Samurai pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Biruchinskiy is keeping the position for now.
Samurai stands and throws Biruchinskiy's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Biruchinskiy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Biruchinskiy is trying to escape the position but Samurai is controlling the position.
Samurai wants to lay and pray for a moment but Biruchinskiy keeps working.
Samurai has hold of Biruchinskiy's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Biruchinskiy seems comfortable defending it but Samurai has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Biruchinskiy is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Biruchinskiy is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Samurai couldn't care less - he's delighted!
