Edgar has chosen Rick Ross- The Boss as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akio Hideaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Edgar!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hideaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Edgar.
Edgar moves forwards but Hideaki connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hideaki moves out of range as Edgar throws a body kick.
Hideaki misses with a hook.
Hideaki connects with a single shot there.

Hideaki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hideaki tries to move into full mount but can't pass Edgar's legs.
Hideaki controls the position from side control.
Edgar wants to control but Hideaki postures up.

Hideaki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Edgar stops Hideaki from passing to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Edgar tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hideaki wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hideaki working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Hideaki thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hideaki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hideaki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hideaki has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Edgar is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hideaki yanks on the arm and Edgar is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hideaki.
