Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Crackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Tank has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Crackman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Tank!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Crackman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tank tries to land a front kick but Crackman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tank takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Crackman tries to keep at a distance but Tank has taken the fight into the clinch.
Crackman stops a takedown attempt from Tank.

Tank manages to break the clinch.
Tank swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tank has closed the distance and engaged Crackman in a clinch.
Crackman tries a body shot but Tank blocks it.
Tank leaning his opponent against the cage.

Tank breaks from the clinch.
Crackman fails to land with a series of punches.
Crackman closes the distance but Tank moves to the side

and Tank counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tank wants to control from the top but Crackman keeps moving.
Tank preventing the sweep.
Tank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crackman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crackman is breathing heavily.

Tank gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tank swats away the attempt to clinch by Crackman.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The is referee keeping an eye on Tank - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tank lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Come on Tank - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Crackman has Tank pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tank manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Tank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tank has closed the distance and engaged Crackman in a clinch.

Tank moves into the clinch.

Tank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tank punishes Crackman's body with a nice straight punch.
Tank bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


It looks like Tom Crackman has been cut.
Tank throws a sloppy head kick and Crackman moves out of range easily.
Crackman misses with an uppercut.
Tom Crackman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crackman throws a body punch but Tank moves out of range.
Crackman throws a one two combo.
Crackman tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Tank counters with a series of strikes that sends Crackman to the canvas! Tank follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!


Crackman is rocked!
Crackman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tank wants to get up but he can't break Crackman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Oh Crackman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crackman throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tank escapes and throws Crackman's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Tank stands up and beckons Crackman to his feet.
Crackman seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tank gets a clinch.
Tank has Crackman pressed against the cage.

Tank has hold of one of Crackman's legs. Crackman is fighting the takedown attempt but Tank gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Tank wants to control from the top but Crackman keeps moving.

Crackman has his foot on Tank's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tank works his way back into a safe position though.

Tank drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tank jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tank postures up.
Tank trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tank tries to free his leg and advance position but Crackman is retaining full guard.

Crackman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tank trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Crackman keeping moving, preventing Tank from controlling successfully.
Tank looking to pass the guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Tank connects with a nice cross there... Crackman is looking wobbly and Tank recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Crackman to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tank jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alex Tank!
