Emelianenko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eagle Lands. Shooter has chosen DJ Antoine - Ma Cherie as his entrance music. Gattsu Emelianenko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Six Shooter's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko scores with a shot to the body.
Emelianenko lands with a hook. Shooter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Six Shooter has been cut.
Shooter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Emelianenko uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Shooter takes one on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shooter is defended easily by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko lands a left and a right that send Shooter crashing to the mat, dazed. Emelianenko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Shooter is rocked!
That has opened up Six Shooter's cut even more.
Emelianenko forces Shooter back against the cage and clinches.
Shooter is still on wobbly legs! Can Emelianenko finish him?
Emelianenko lands with a short shot to the head.
The cut above Six Shooter's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Emelianenko creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Shooter with a big uppercut! Shooter tries to clinch up but Emelianenko pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Shooter to the mat! Shooter covers up and Emelianenko unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gattsu Emelianenko!
