The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorsen misses with a leg kick.
Puno Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thorsen.
Puno Jr misses with a body shot.
Thorsen lands a lovely overhand right.
Puno Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Puno Jr throws a body punch but Thorsen moves out of range.
Thorsen throws a jab when Puno Jr was well out of range.
Thorsen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A head kick by Puno Jr misses
and Thorsen counters with a big head kick but Puno Jr shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thorsen.
Thorsen throws a head kick but Puno Jr moves out of range.

Thorsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Puno Jr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Thorsen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Thorsen lands a hook that snaps the head of Puno Jr backwards.

It looks like Fidel Puno Jr has been cut.

Thorsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Puno Jr swings away with an uppercut that misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A left hand lands to the body for Thorsen.
Puno Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Thorsen finish him?
Thorsen has Puno Jr tight in a Thai clinch... and there's a huge knee which drops Puno Jr to the floor. He's out cold!! I hope he's still got all his teeth!
