PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick McMinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dumile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMinn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Come Together. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMinn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Dumile throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McMinn tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dumile is in McMinn's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dumile accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McMinn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dumile lands with a hook. McMinn tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McMinn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dumile tightens his grip and picks McMinn up, before dumping him to the ground. McMinn manages to land in guard.

Dumile lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt McMinn quite badly. McMinn pulls Dumile in close trying to recover. Dumile postures up and lands two really hard shots that put McMinn on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but McMinn doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
