The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strifes tries to clinch up.
Rounded misses with a leg kick.
Rounded tries to work over Strifes's front leg with a kick but Strifes checks it.
Rounded tries to score with a low kick but Strifes moves his leg out of the way.
Rounded lands a head kick!
Rounded tries to clinch up.

Strifes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rounded creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Strifes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rounded has him pressed against the cage.
Rounded fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Strifes takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Jacob Strifes has been cut.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Rounded looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Rounded creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rounded throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Rounded comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Strifes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Strifes throws a solid leg kick but Rounded takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Strifes.
Rounded throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Well Rounded is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Strifes doesn't manage to clinch there - Rounded circles away.
Rounded connects with a high kick.
Strifes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Strifes misses with a double jab.

Strifes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rounded gets back to half guard.
Rounded trying to control from the bottom.
It looks like Strifes is going to stand back up.
Rounded regains full guard. Nicely done.

Rounded has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Strifes doesn't defend quickly enough and Rounded has managed to lock this one up! Can Strifes escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rounded on a fantastic submission victory.
