Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

killer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
killer goes for a takedown attempt but cruel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

cruel moves into range and clinches up with killer.
killer tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
killer takes a knee right on the jaw!
killer scores with a knee to the head.
cruel drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

cruel manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
killer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as cruel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
cruel keeping full guard, as killer tries to pass.
killer stays in close to cruel's body and controls the position.
cruel keeping moving, preventing killer from controlling successfully.

cruel looking for a guillotine here but killer defends easily.

killer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. cruel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
killer trying to control the position from guard on top but cruel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
killer advances to half guard.
killer is trying to control the action in half guard but cruel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
cruel is trying to maintain the position but killer is very close to passing his half guard.
killer passes into side control, despite cruel's attempt to control the position.
cruel wants to control but killer postures up.
cruel is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
killer trying to control the action but cruel is working from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
cruel tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and killer counters with a nice body shot.
cruel is breathing heavily.
cruel steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from killer. That one must have hurt.
killer killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
killer throws a head kick that misses.
killer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
killer moves in looking to clinch but cruel pushes him off.
cruel tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and killer counters with a single leg into guard. cruel didn't expect that.
cruel keeping moving, preventing killer from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
cruel controls killer momentarily but killer frees himself.

killer chips away with some ground and pound.
killer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed cruel's guard.
cruel is not content to let killer control the position.

killer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
cruel regains full guard. Nicely done.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

killer stands and steps away. cruel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
cruel lands a slapping body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - cruel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
killer lands with a thumping leg kick.
cruel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Good leg kick by killer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

killer has cruel up against the cage in a clinch.

cruel breaks from the clinch.
cruel throws a nice looking combination but killer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
killer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from cruel.
killer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
cruel throws a head kick but killer moves out of range.

cruel pushes killer up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

killer shoots in looking for a takedown. cruel tries to sprawl out of it but killer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. cruel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
