The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Countryman throws a head kick but Greyjoy moves out of range.

It looks like Mini Countryman has been cut.
Greyjoy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Countryman.
Greyjoy jabs Countryman to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Countryman throws a sloppy head kick and Greyjoy moves out of range easily.
Greyjoy cracks Countryman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Greyjoy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Countryman circles away quickly and effectively.
Countryman moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Countryman throws a front kick that sends Greyjoy stumbling back into the ropes.

Greyjoy blocks a head kick by Countryman.
Countryman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Greyjoy throws a right hand that Countryman ducks under and follows up with a left that Countryman also avoids with ease.
Countryman feints and then cracks Greyjoy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Greyjoy down.

A head kick misses from Countryman.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Countryman. Greyjoy shrugs it off though.

Greyjoy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Countryman. That one must have hurt.
Countryman throws a head kick but Greyjoy moves out of range.
Countryman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Countryman throws a head kick that Greyjoy semi-blocks.
Greyjoy moves out of range of the body kick.
Greyjoy feints a jab promting Countryman to slip. Greyjoy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Countryman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Countryman tries a head kick but it misses.
Countryman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Greyjoy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Greyjoy swinging wildly here.

Countryman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Countryman seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Greyjoy has recovered full guard.
Countryman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Greyjoy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Countryman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Greyjoy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Countryman has Greyjoy in his guard.

Countryman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Countryman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Greyjoy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Countryman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Greyjoy defends it easily.

Countryman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Greyjoy manages to get himself to full guard.

Countryman drops back looking for a leg! Greyjoy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Greyjoy manages to kick Countryman off! Countryman jumps back into Greyjoy's guard.
