Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arska Paska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses the jab.
Slice looks to land a right hand but Paska moved out of range.

Paska darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Slice wants to get back to his feet.
Paska works his foot free and advances to mount.
Slice takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Paska sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
A nice elbow there by Paska.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Slice is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Slice looks gassed!
Slice tries to hold on but Paska postures up.
Paska has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Slice's face.

Slice tries to buck Paska off but he can't manage it.

Paska controlling the pace for now.
Slice wants to get back to his feet.

Paska postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Slice looks a forlorn figure.
Slice is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slice tries to lock up and control but Paska gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Slice slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Slice is trying to maintain the position but Paska is very close to passing his half guard.
Slice pushes Paska off looking to stand but Paska dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice regains full guard. Nicely done.
Slice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Paska is controlling him.
Slice wants to sweep but no luck.
Paska throwing strikes but missing.
Slice keeping moving, preventing Paska from controlling successfully.
Slice lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Paska!

Paska regains half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Paska manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Paska throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Slice trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Slice is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.

Paska escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Slice gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Paska pulls Slice in close to his closed guard and prevents Slice from doing any damage or advancing position.
Slice wants to stand but Paska has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Paska seems keen to control Slice's posture.
Slice lands a couple of decent looking shots.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Paska is on top in guard.
Paska stands up over Slice, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Slice being controlled here, momentarily.
Paska won't allow Slice to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Paska is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Paska prevents Slice from getting back to his feet.
Slice looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paska is one step ahead there.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Paska accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Paska blocks a jab.
Paska drops his hands momentarily and Slice takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Paska closes the distance and clinches up with Slice, looking for a takedown. Paska pushes Slice against the cage but Slice circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Slice keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Paska throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paska off to one side.
Paska fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arska Paska. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paska uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slice.
Paska tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slice swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Paska takes one to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slice scores with the left hand. Paska knows he should have avoided that one.

Paska fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slice, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Paska to work.
Slice is trying to break free.
Paska prevents Slice from breaking the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Arska Paska will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Paska shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slice as he avoids it easily.
Slice slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Paska gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Paska is rocked!
Slice misses with a wild combination.
Oh Paska is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paska throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paska off to one side.
Paska seems to have got his legs back now.
A jab from Slice does it's job there.

Paska takes the fight into the clinch.
Paska prevents Slice from breaking the clinch.
Paska goes for a takedown attempt but Slice pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arska Paska. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice tries to clinch there but Paska circles away.

Paska drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Paska is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Paska cracks Slice with a big elbow.
Paska lands some shots froms side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slice is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Paska's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Slice tries to get to full guard but Paska has control of the leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Paska looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Paska takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Slice tries to kick Paska off but Paska keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Slice has one foot on Paska's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Slice shoots for a takedown but Paska saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Slice closes the distance and clinches.
Paska tries to score a body lock takedown but Slice shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Paska keeps control of Slice as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Slice misses with some punches.
Slice prevents a takedown attempt there.
Paska is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Slice pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Paska has picked Slice up - he's going for a ride! Paska dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Paska lands a nice short elbow.
Paska landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Paska is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Slice tries to roll over but Paska keeps him under control.
Paska trying to mount his opponent but Slice defends it.
Slice is pressing down on Paska's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Paska is pushing down on Slice's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slice is fighting to maintain full guard but Paska has managed to sneak the leg through.
Paska has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Slice tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Slice is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Slice tries to lock up and control but Paska gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Paska lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Slice hang on?
Paska lands with some strikes.
You get the feeling that Slice really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Paska's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
