Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trey Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jalil Mahmoudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahmoudi has chosen CAUTION!!! VULGAR AS F^CK as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mahmoudi drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Robinson is trying to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mahmoudi darts in and clinches Robinson up against the cage.

Mahmoudi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mahmoudi doesn't manage to clinch there - Robinson circles away.

Robinson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mahmoudi was well out of range. Poor timing from Robinson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jalil Mahmoudi.

Mahmoudi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robinson as he avoids it easily.

and Robinson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nice takedown defense from Robinson. No joy for Mahmoudi on that attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Robinson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mahmoudi forces Robinson back against the cage and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
