Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace comes into the arena with BRAVEHEART blaring out of the sound system. Machida is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by the dragon. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Machida sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wallace has a takedown stuffed.
Wallace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Machida circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wallace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Wallace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Machida tries to avoid it but Wallace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Machida to the ground. Machida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Machida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Machida looking for a guillotine here but Wallace defends easily.
Machida has his feet on Wallace's thighs here. He's pushed Wallace off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wallace screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
