The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pihl tries to move into range but Rthihovsky moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Pihl tries to close the distance and clinch but Rthihovsky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rthihovsky throws a leg kick that misses.
Pihl tries to clinch but Rthihovsky is having none of it.
Pihl throws a shot from downtown. Rthihovsky moves away and avoids it.

Rthihovsky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
