Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Cheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Martin!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin connects with an inside leg kick.
Martin just misses with a punch to the body.
Martin takes a swing at Cheng's ribcage but misses.
Martin delivers a nice body kick.
Martin throws a good cross that connects.
Martin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cheng counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Michael Martin has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cheng is able to avoid easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Martin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cheng - the referee stops the clock and Martin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cheng. Martin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Martin takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Martin throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cheng counters with a flying knee that drops Martin!
Martin is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cheng is working Martin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Martin is still in real trouble! Can Cheng finish him?
Cheng gets to his feet and stands over Martin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Martin felt that one! Cheng unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Martin from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Cheng!
Charles Cheng retains his light heavyweight title!
